Your Contributions

As a

Team Lead - Power and Earthing Systems

, you will:

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical experts to ensure the delivery of exceptional project outcomes.
• Perform advanced power system studies, including arc flash analysis, protection grading, short circuit analysis, and load flow studies, using DIgSILENT PowerFactory to ensure compliance with cutting-edge industry standards.
• Design, analyze, and evaluate earthing systems using CDEGS to ensure safety and reliability.
• Enhance system performance through precise cable sizing calculations using CYMCAP.
• Oversee high-profile projects, including the Western Renewables Link, HumeLink, and other transformative initiatives in mining, utility, and renewables sectors.
• Build strong relationships with clients, project stakeholders, and cross-disciplinary teams to ensure project success.
• Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and foster professional growth within your team.
• Stay ahead of the latest industry trends, standards, and technologies to deliver optimized outcomes.

Ideal Candidate Profile

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven expertise in power system studies (including arc flash, protection grading, short circuit, and load flow analysis), earthing system design, and cable sizing methodology.
• Proficiency with industry-standard software tools such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory, CDEGS, and CYMCAP.
• The ability to effectively lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• A track record of successfully delivering complex, large-scale projects within the energy, utilities, mining, or renewables sector.
• Deep understanding of relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
