We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join a trailblazing utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) developer based in Berlin. Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Manager, you will:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of utility-scale BESS projects, from initial planning to final delivery.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Prepare and present project updates, reports, and documentation to stakeholders.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Apply expertise in electrical engineering across projects as necessary.
• Leverage prior experience in high-voltage (HV) engineering projects as part of successful project delivery.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have

• A degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale energy or infrastructure projects, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of utility-scale BESS technologies and project development processes.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience in high-voltage (HV) engineering projects and electrical systems.
• Exceptional project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Fluency in German (both written and spoken) and proficiency in English.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory, permitting processes, and standards in Germany.

Day-to-Day

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
• Monitoring project progress and addressing any challenges or delays.
• Conducting site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, including electrical and HV systems.
• Managing contracts and negotiations with suppliers and contractors.
• Preparing detailed project reports and presenting them to senior management.
• Staying updated on industry trends, particularly in HV engineering, electrical systems, and technological advancements in energy storage.
