This is an opportunity to join one of Australia's most respected power engineering consultancies at a genuinely interesting point in their growth. Backed by a major ASX-listed infrastructure group, they operate across the full project lifecycle and have built a strong reputation delivering complex grid connection work across the NEM for some of the biggest names in Australian energy and renewables.

They are growing their Victoria team and looking for a Senior Power Systems Engineer who can take the lead on grid connection studies and projects, and who is comfortable owning both the technical and client-facing elements of that work.

What You Will Be Doing

• Leading the delivery of grid connection projects across the NEM from pre-connection through to post-connection support
• Independently managing connection studies in PSCAD and PSS/E
• Handling connection applications and interfacing directly with AEMO, NSPs, and OEMs
• Taking technical ownership of projects and managing client relationships throughout
• Reviewing and approving technical deliverables produced by the wider team
• Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a strong internal technical culture
• Harmonics analysis and filter design work where required (desirable experience)

What We Are Looking For

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Hands-on experience delivering grid connection studies and managing connection applications within the NEM
• Proficiency in PSCAD and PSS/E; additional tools such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory well regarded
• Solid understanding of AEMO's connection frameworks, technical standards, and generator performance standards
• Confidence managing multiple projects and client interfaces simultaneously
• Experience with harmonics analysis and filter design is a genuine advantage
• CPEng or working towards it is well regarded
