Asset Manager – Utility‑Scale BESS & Solar

I am currently working with a company who specialises exclusively in the asset management of utility‑scale solar and battery energy storage projects. Its focus is on maximising technical performance, optimising market‑driven revenue, and safeguarding long‑term asset value. With deep expertise in large‑scale grid‑connected assets and data‑led operational oversight, the organisation delivers high‑reliability performance and stable returns across complex renewable portfolios.

They are on the look out for an Asset Manager to oversee the commercial and technical performance of large‑scale solar and battery energy storage assets. The focus is on maximising output, maintaining compliance, and protecting long‑term asset value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor asset performance and work with O&M and EPC partners to resolve issues and reduce downtime.
• Manage budgets, financial reporting, and commercial agreements including PPAs, maintenance contracts, and warranties.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, grid, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Produce clear performance reports for investors, lenders, and other stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve revenue, reduce costs, and enhance overall asset performance.

Requirements:

• Experience in asset management within utility‑scale solar, BESS, or the wider renewable energy sector.
• Strong commercial understanding of contracts, financial performance, and revenue streams.
• Ability to interpret technical data and coordinate effectively with multiple external partners.
• Well‑organised, proactive, and comfortable managing a varied portfolio.
