Enemix are partnering with a leading energy advisory team hiringin their Sydney office to play a pivotal role in accelerating the energy transition.

As a key member of thier Australian advisory practice, this role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the energy sector while developing your expertise under the guidance of senior leaders with extensive experience in addressing strategic issues in electricity market modeling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality, rigorous quantitative analysis and clear communication of data insights.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver tailored approaches and solutions, ensuring optimal client satisfaction.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor and the first point of contact for strategic guidance.
• Acquire new clients and projects by responding to requests for proposals and proactively identifying business opportunities.
• Contribute to the growth of the Australian practice by developing new business areas and expanding the client base.
• Develop and support teams of analysts and energy modelers to enhance their performance, and reach their full potential.
• Balance project delivery with team development, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Develop a deep understanding of clients’ businesses and expectations to scope and manage projects effectively within time and budget constraints.

Qualifications

Required Attributes

• Extensive experience in the electricity sector, gained through consultancy, government/regulatory bodies, or industry roles.
• Expereince with market modeling software (e.g., Plexos) to deliver insights.
• Proven expertise in using data and models to deliver electricity market insights.
• A passion for delivering high-quality projects and fostering team development.
• Collaborative nature with an empathetic leadership style, capable of inspiring and developing teams.
• Exceptional project management skills, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of client projects.
• Demonstrated success in winning new business through compelling proposals and proactive business development.
