About the Role

Head of Energy Analytics, you will lead the strategic optimisation of a growing portfolio of large-scale solar and storage assets across Australia. This is a high-impact leadership role where your insights will directly influence asset performance, trading strategies, and long-term investment decisions.

You Will:

• Lead a high-performing analytics team focused on maximising asset value through data-driven decision-making.
• Develop and implement optimisation models to improve energy yield, market participation, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, trading, and asset management teams to align analytics with business goals.
• Leverage advanced data science tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Power BI, cloud platforms) to analyse performance, forecast trends, and drive innovation.
• Champion digital transformation, including AI/ML applications, digital twins, and real-time monitoring systems.

What You Bring:

• Extensive experience in large-scale renewable energy (solar, wind, or storage), with a strong focus on asset optimisation and performance analytics.
• Technical fluency in data science, engineering, or applied mathematics.
• Hands-on expertise with data analytics platforms and programming languages (Python, SQL, Power BI, etc.).
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
• Engineering or quantitative degree (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Energy Systems) highly desirable.
