Our client is a well backed IPP focused on the development, construction, and long‑term management of solar, BESS, and floating solar (FPV) assets across Europe. With an advanced and growing pipeline in the Netherlands and Germany, the company is now strengthening its internal EPC capability as multiple projects move through late development into execution.

They are seeking an experienced Head of EPC to take full ownership of EPC strategy and delivery across their floating solar portfolio.

The Role:

• Lead the end‑to‑end EPC function for floating solar projects, from detailed engineering through construction, commissioning, and handover
• Define and execute EPC strategy, including delivery models, contracting approaches, and supplier selection
• Provide technical leadership across floating solar systems, including floats, mooring, anchoring, and water‑based installation concepts
• Manage EPC contractors, consultants, and key suppliers, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and on budget
• Oversee schedules, cost control, risk management, quality, and HSE performance across the portfolio
• Act as EPC lead during development and pre‑construction, supporting project optimisation, constructability reviews, and capex forecasting
• Support the scale‑up of internal EPC processes, standards, and best practices as the platform grows

Requirements:

• Strong background in solar PV EPC, with hands‑on experience delivering floating solar (FPV) projects
• Senior‑level EPC or project delivery leadership experience (Head of EPC, EPC Director, Senior Project Director, or similar)
• Proven track record delivering utility‑scale or large commercial solar projects from engineering through commissioning
• Good understanding of EPC and supplier contracting structures, risk allocation, and cost management
• Experience working in European markets; direct exposure to the Netherlands and/or Germany is highly desirable
• Fluent in Dutch and English (German is a huge plus).
