Project Director Rolle in Melbourne, VIC

Enemix are looking for a Project Director to help shape the future of clean energy here in Australia! In this role you’ll utilise your experience in electrical infrastructure or energy project management to support an outstanding and experienced team in constructing and delivering both Wind and Battery energy storage system (BESS) projects.

Role Overview

As Project Director you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of a portfolio of renewable energy projects from an electrical standpoint. This role requires proven experience managing complex, large-scale infrastructure or energy projects from inception to completion.

You will bring exceptional leadership, commercial acumen + the ability to manage diverse stakeholders while ensuring project milestones are achieved on time, within budget and to the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall construction delivery strategy for projects
• Oversee stakeholder engagement and management between various parties
• Establish and lead a high-performing project team to ensure operational excellence
• Drive project execution to meet schedule, cost, and quality objectives
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks throughout the full project lifecycle
• Provide accurate progress updates, financial reports and project documentation to senior leadership + external stakeholders

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in electrical engineering, construction, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience delivering large-scale infrastructure or energy projects with exposure to the management of multiple stakeholders (EPCs, OEMs, Developers, Regulatory Authorities)
• Strong commercial and contractual expertise, including budget management and financial reporting
• Solid understanding of complex electrical project works and large-scale construction methodologies
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage cross-functional teams
• Willingness to travel and work on-site when required
