Job Title: Associate Director – Power Systems
Location: Any major city in Australia or New Zealand (Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Hobart, Auckland, Wellington)

Job Overview:
This Power Solutions Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director – Power Systems to join the Power Solutions business. This role is pivotal in advising on complex power systems and providing a deep understanding of the emerging trends reshaping the energy sector. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Power Systems, and collaborate closely with the wider advisory team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage projects related to grid connection, network planning, network strategy, market modelling, and major power projects.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize power systems and enhance grid connections.
• Provide expert advice and technical support to clients on power systems, grid connections, and related infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute comprehensive power solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies, and industry partners.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to inform project strategies and client recommendations.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Extensive experience in power systems, grid connections, and utilities, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and industry standards in the power sector.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
