Our Client are an international leader in providing the Energy Transition sector with Advisory, Finance, Analytics, Investment and Technical Solutions. The key sectors they operate in across the Energy sector are Renewable Energy, Sustainable Finance, T+D and Electricity Markets. As a result of Recent growth and plans to enter into new markets to hire a Senior Commercial Manager for their Sydney office.

Responsibilities:
Lead consultant teams to influence the energy market and drive the energy transition in Australia and beyond.
Establish and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders in top energy companies, policymakers, regulators, investors, developers, and industry players across the energy supply chain.
Oversee consulting engagements, define project scopes, supervise junior team members, and foster enduring client relationships.
Participate in the Senior Management Team, contributing to business development, shaping business strategy, and sustaining a market-leading culture.

Skills Needed:
At least 8 years of experience in the energy market, carbon markets, or green fuels industry, preferably within Australia.
Experience in commercial advisory, either within the industry (e.g., internal strategy or commercial teams) or as a consultant to the energy sector.
A passion for solving critical and complex problems, with the capability to lead and mentor small teams in a dynamic environment.
Confidence in interacting with leadership teams within wholesale markets (electricity or carbon), risk, strategy, and trading functions.
Demonstrated ability to manage project teams collaboratively, providing actionable advice and supporting the implementation of real change.
An entrepreneurial mindset, enthusiastic about personal and team development, and thriving in a rapidly growing environment.
