We're partnering with a leading global renewable energy developer to find an experienced Grid Connection Manager who’s passionate about enabling large-scale solar, wind, battery, and hydrogen projects to connect seamlessly to the grid.

Your Role
As Grid Connection Manager, you’ll lead technical engagements and grid studies, working closely with consultants, OEMs, network service providers, and AEMO. You’ll be instrumental in navigating the grid connection process and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead grid connection studies for solar, wind, battery, and hydrogen projects.
-Solve complex grid-related challenges and manage stakeholder communications.
-Represent the company in industry forums and regulatory consultations.
-Provide technical leadership across engineering, development, and EPC teams.
-Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
About You
You’re a seasoned electrical engineer with deep experience in the Australian power industry and a passion for renewables. You thrive in collaborative environments and bring a strategic mindset to grid connection and power system engineering.
Qualifications & Experience:
-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
-8–10 years’ experience in grid connection for renewable energy projects.
-Proficiency in simulation tools (PSS®E, PSCAD, PowerFactory).
-Strong understanding of National Electricity Rules and NEM connection processes.
-Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
-Willingness to travel nationally and work with global teams.
