You’ll lead the commercial strategy for a diverse portfolio of projects, from early-stage origination through to financial close and operations. Key Responsibilities
- Originate and negotiate Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with corporate and industrial offtakers
- Lead commercial input into EPC contracts, offtake agreements, and tolling arrangements
- Support financial close processes, including financial modelling and lender engagement
- Evaluate commercial viability of wind, solar, battery, and hydrogen projects
- Manage customer relationships and coordinate responses to PPA tenders
- Oversee internal commercial processes and liaise with legal, finance, and development teams
- Contribute to feasibility studies and due diligence for new investments and emerging technologies
Candidate Profile
- 8–12 years’ experience in commercial roles within renewable energy, infrastructure, or utilities
- Strong background in project finance and financial modelling
- Solid understanding of contract structures, ideally with a foundation in law or legal review (EPC, PPA, offtake)
- Proven track record in negotiating and closing PPAs and supporting financial close
- Experience with battery tolling models and hydrogen commercialisation is highly regarded
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
