More about this Grid Connection Manager Role

About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a well‑funded, high‑growth infrastructure developer with multiple large‑scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects advancing through the National Electricity Market (NEM). Backed by seasoned industry leaders and a strong project pipeline, this organisation offers an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Grid Connection Manager to join at a formative moment and help shape the future direction of the business.

This is a rare chance to step into a role where you’ll have genuine ownership of the grid connection lifecycle—from early‑stage enquiries through to negotiating connection agreements—while working alongside some of the most respected experts in the grid, renewable energy, and infrastructure delivery space.

If you’re motivated by autonomy, influence, and the ability to materially shape major NEM‑connected projects, this one stands out.

  • Stay informed on emerging BESS technologies and their impact on project feasibility and performance.

About You – Experience & Skills

Experience

  • 7+ years working in a grid‑connection‑focused environment (developer, AEMO, NSP, or consultancy).
  • Proven experience progressing GPS submissions and negotiating with NSPs/AEMO.
