Responsibilities
- Performance Management: Monitor battery storage asset operations to ensure maximum performance and efficiency while identifying and addressing underperformance.
- Lifecycle Planning: Develop short-term and long-term plans for asset lifecycle management, including monitoring maintenance schedules, upgrades, replacements, and end-of-life strategies.
- Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines across all operations.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, ensuring operational resilience and continuity.
- Commercial Optimisation: Analyse market trends and optimise revenue by leveraging opportunities in energy trading, storage utilisation, and other commercial frameworks.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, external contractors, and regulators to ensure smooth and effective management of battery storage assets.
- Data and Reporting: Develop and deliver timely operational and financial performance reports to key stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Technology Innovation: Stay updated on the latest technological developments in energy storage and actively integrate innovative solutions to improve asset performance and value.
Qualifications
Essential
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, energy management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in asset management, preferably within energy storage, renewable energy, or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong understanding of battery storage systems, performance metrics, and operational best practices.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the renewable energy industry.
- Expertise in risk assessment, financial modelling, and commercial operations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with asset management software and tools.
