The Role

As a Senior or Lead Secondary Systems Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Designing protection and control systems across transmission and distribution networks.
• Developing HV substation secondary designs, including SCADA, metering, and communications systems.
• Engaging directly with utilities and Network Service Providers (NSPs) to ensure seamless project execution.
• Working across both advisory and delivery functions, maintaining visibility of the commercial and project management aspects behind the designs you produce.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in secondary systems design within transmission and distribution networks gained at a consultancy, utility, EPC, or similar organization.
• Proven ability to engage directly with clients and NSPs, demonstrating strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a keen desire to build and enhance systems and processes.
• Experience at a Senior or Lead-level, with a demonstrated ability to take on increasing responsibilities as the team grows.
