Senior Project Manager - Solar & BESS

Enemix are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to join a leading organisation focused across Solar, BESS and Wind projects. This role is pivotal in overseeing end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring they meet budget, schedule, and quality expectations. As a Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of contract management, contribute to engineering and design processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact results.

As the Senior Project Manager, your primary duties will involve:

• End-to-End Project Delivery: Driving the overall execution of projects from initiation, planning, execution, and monitoring to successful closure
• Contract Management: Leading contract negotiation, drafting, and execution while maintaining compliance and ensuring adherence to agreed terms.
• Project Planning and Budgeting: Developing comprehensive project timelines, identifying key milestones, and monitoring budgets to ensure seamless delivery.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinating with internal and external teams, clients, and vendors to guarantee alignment across all parties and set expectations.
• Input into Engineering & Design:  Providing input on engineering and design processes to ensure that project objectives align with technical feasibility and stakeholder needs.
• Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Proactively identifying potential risks, resolving challenges, and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
• Leadership and Mentorship: Guiding junior team members, providing growth opportunities, and fostering a collaborative working environment.
• Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities to enhance workflows and integrate emerging technologies or best practices.

The ideal candidate for this role will bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are preferred.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in project management, ideally in a senior or leadership capacity.  - Strong expertise in contract management with the ability to analyze, negotiate, and manage contractual obligations effectively.  - Hands-on experience in driving complex design and engineering integration into projects.  - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to lead and influence diverse teams and stakeholders.  - Proficiency in project management tools and a thorough understanding of agile and traditional project management practices.  - Results-driven mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.  - A commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable team culture.
