. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge battery energy storage systems (BESS) and transmission projects across various jurisdictions, including Germany and beyond.
Responsibilities
As the Grid Connection Manager, you will:
- Lead Grid Connection Projects: Manage grid connection and substation projects across multiple markets and voltage levels (110kV to 500kV).
- Act as a Key Liaison: Serve as the technical and commercial link between the client, TSOs/DSOs, EPC contractors, and internal engineering teams.
- Oversee Project Delivery: Drive projects from planning and permitting through construction, commissioning, and energisation.
- Coordinate Multidisciplinary Teams: Oversee primary systems, protection and control, and civil works interfaces across international project teams.
- Manage Risk and Stakeholders: Handle project risks, controls, and stakeholder relationships across diverse regulatory environments.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience in grid connections, substations, or transmission infrastructure (110kV and above).
- A strong track record of working within or alongside TSO/DSO environments.
- Experience coordinating EPC contractors and multidisciplinary technical teams.
- The ability to manage stakeholders across different countries and regulatory frameworks.
- Fluency in English and German.
