Gießen, Germany

Overview

We are a renewable energy project developer based in Gießen, specializing in the full lifecycle of onshore wind and solar projects. From site development and permitting to construction and repowering, we are committed to delivering sustainable and community-focused energy solutions. Our portfolio includes three operational wind parks and a growing pipeline of wind, solar, and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Grid Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in supporting the grid connection aspects of our renewable energy projects. This position offers the opportunity to work across multiple technologies, including wind, solar, and BESS, and to contribute to the transition to a cleaner energy future.

Responsibilities

As an Electrical Grid Engineer, you will:

  • Provide technical support for grid connection engineering across wind, solar, and BESS projects.
  • Collaborate closely with the construction team in Gießen, with regular travel to the office (1–2 days per week) to ensure alignment with project timelines.
  • Coordinate technical grid requirements across internal project teams and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as a technical liaison between engineering and construction teams as projects transition from design to build phases.
  • Ensure compliance with grid connection standards and regulations throughout project development and execution.

Additional responsibilities may be discussed with the hiring manager.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in electrical or grid engineering.
  • A strong background in wind energy.
  • Experience in solar and BESS projects (preferred but not essential).
  • The ability to work across multiple technologies and adapt to a dynamic project environment.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to Gießen for team coordination.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary (to be discussed during the hiring process).
  • Opportunities for professional growth and cross-technology exposure in wind, solar, and BESS projects.
  • The chance to work with a company that prioritizes sustainability and community-focused development.

Why Join Us?

We offer the unique opportunity to work on real, operational renewable energy assets rather than just conceptual projects. Our certified, sustainability-driven approach ensures that you will be part of a team that values environmental responsibility and community engagement.

If you are passionate about renewable energy and have the expertise to drive grid connection success, we encourage you to apply and join us in shaping a sustainable energy future.
