Project Manager – High Voltage & Data Centre Infrastructure

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager to join a specialist consultancy delivering high voltage (HV) and data centre infrastructure projects for some of Australia's leading digital infrastructure and utility clients. Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will:

• Take ownership of end-to-end delivery of HV and data centre construction projects, from mobilisation to handover.
• Manage project program, budget, quality, and safety throughout the lifecycle.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact on-site.
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and internal engineering teams.
• Supervise HV testing and commissioning phases, ensuring timely and specification-compliant delivery.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, addressing issues proactively to avoid delivery impacts.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, forecasting, and commercial performance to internal and client stakeholders.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will bring:

• Strong experience with high voltage electrical systems, switchboards, and power systems.
• A solid electrical background combined with proven construction project management expertise.
• Experience in mining, industrial, or heavy infrastructure construction (highly advantageous).
• Exceptional leadership skills to guide multiple stakeholders in a fast-moving, high-profile project environment.
