Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to lead and oversee the development, execution, and successful delivery of a large-scale renewable Independent Power Producer (IPP) project. Responsibilities
As the Project Director, you will:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the development and execution of a large-scale renewable IPP project.
- Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, design, permitting, construction, commissioning, and operations.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and operations, to achieve project objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, contractors, and investors, to ensure compliance and alignment with project goals.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, renewable energy, project management, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in managing large-scale renewable energy projects, particularly IPPs.
- Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies, including solar, wind, or other clean energy solutions.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, permitting processes, and environmental compliance in the renewable energy sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Day-to-Day
Your daily responsibilities will include:
