We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Legal Counsel to provide expert legal advice across high-profile construction and projects. Acting as a trusted partner to both internal and external stakeholders, you’ll navigate legal complexities with confidence and integrity while driving innovation in infrastructure and advisory work.

What You'll Do

  • Expert Legal Guidance: Offer strategic advice on construction and engineering legal matters, covering contract reviews, negotiations, and dispute resolution.
  • Driving Governance: Provide legal, risk, and governance support across all levels of the organisation, including senior leadership.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and client project representatives to manage legal complexities on diverse projects.
  • External Partnerships: Manage relationships with external legal counsel to sustain effective and efficient support.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Deliver training programs to enhance legal and governance knowledge within the organisation.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 4–8 years PQE
  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to distill complex legal concepts into clear advice for stakeholders across a fast-paced, matrixed organisation.
  • Negotiation Skills: Demonstrable success in contract drafting and negotiation under competing priorities.
  • Commercial Acumen: A balance of commercial pragmatism and legal precision, paired with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

A Day in the Life

  • Collaborating with project teams to address legal challenges for prominent infrastructure or advisory initiatives.
  • Negotiating contracts that lay the foundation for impactful projects.
  • Partnering with senior leaders to provide guidance on key legal and governance matters.
  • Leading knowledge-sharing workshops to improve the organisation’s legal and compliance practices.
