Operations Manager role in Nijmegen, GE

Overview

You will join a renewable energy platform focused on the long-term operation and performance of solar PV assets across Europe

. The business works closely with asset owners and investors to ensure systems are running efficiently and delivering consistent returns.

As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring assets are operated safely, maintained effectively, and continuously improved, while also helping to strengthen and scale the internal operations setup as the portfolio grows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of solar PV assets and energy infrastructure portfolios
• Manage and coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and service providers across maintenance and operations
• Ensure high levels of asset performance, uptime, and service quality
• Take ownership of O&M delivery, contracts, and SLAs, ensuring compliance and performance targets are met
• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement improvements across the portfolio
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing updates, reporting, and performance insights
• Support the growth and development of the operations function as the business scales

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operations or asset management within solar PV or renewable energy
• Strong understanding of O&M processes, asset performance, and maintenance strategies
• Experience managing teams, contractors, and external service providers
• Solid technical understanding of solar PV systems (AC/DC), monitoring platforms, and grid connections
• Comfortable working with performance data and reporting tools
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships
• Fluent in English (Dutch is an advantage, depending on location)
