Enemix is once again partnering with a leader in energy markets. The company is an AI-native intelligence platform serving the battery energy storage and energy transition sector. Their platform helps organisations financing, building, and operating storage assets make sharper commercial decisions. They serve a large and growing global user base, including some of the world's most significant asset managers, developers, and energy companies, and continuing on an ambitious growth journey.
The Role
This role sits at the intersection of research, product, data, and customer engagement. You will use energy market expertise, data analysis, and AI-native research methods to help customers understand battery revenues, asset performance, and market change.
You'll produce written articles, videos, and research outputs that make complex market dynamics accessible, helping developers, owners, operators, investors, and lenders understand how batteries earn revenue and what shifting market conditions mean commerciall.
A significant part of the role involves building the business's AI-native research capability, using large language models, AI coding assistants, automations, and data pipelines to turn market data into high-quality analysis faster than traditional methods allow.
This is a role with genuine influence. You'll help shape the company's growth across Australia and the wider APAC region, and their research, product direction, and market view as battery storage becomes an increasingly central part of the power system.
Responsibilities
- Producing data-led, analytical content on power markets and asset operations, primarily written articles and video, to communicate high-value insights
- Building AI-native workflows and automations to make research and content production faster and more scalable
- Supporting local and global data science, product, and sales teams through research outputs, market knowledge, and AI-enabled tools
- Staying ahead of market and policy developments, and communicating this internally and externally
- Building relationships with users and staying close to developments across the clean energy industry
- Collaborating across the business to ensure alignment and clear value delivery through products, content, and customer-facing work
What You'll Bring
- 2+ years' professional experience in energy markets (NEM/WEM, BESS highly regarded)
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, using excel and python, with the ability to discover, explore, and communicate trends in numerical data
- Clear, concise writing, with the ability to distil complex topics into accessible, jargon-free language
- Critical thinking and the confidence to develop your own informed views. This role offers a genuine platform to become a thought leader in renewable energy
- A builder mentality, with a track record of using AI tools, coding assistants, automations, or data pipelines to improve analytical and research processes
- Comfort working collaboratively in a small team, with an appetite for the pace and ownership that comes with it
