Role Objectives

As the

Team Lead for Business Development & Project Development

, you will:

• Lead and Inspire: Manage and mentor a team of three project developers, fostering a collaborative, people-oriented culture while driving performance and success in project development.
• Shape Regional Direction: Define and implement business and project development strategies in North-Eastern Germany.
• Diversify the Portfolio: Build and scale a sustainable portfolio that includes solar, onshore wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
• Be a Key Advocate: Represent the region in senior leadership settings, contributing to the organization's overarching business strategies.
• Guide Development Processes: Oversee origination, permitting, and early-to-mid stage development activities within the project pipeline.
• Collaborate on a Global Scale: Work within a diverse international team to achieve collective goals, exchanging ideas and strategies across cultural and professional boundaries.

Candidate Profile

Our client seeks a driven and strategic professional who brings:

• Proven Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams, particularly in renewable energy project development.
• Renewable Energy Expertise: Solid experience in business development or project development, particularly in solar, wind, or BESS sectors.
• Strategic Acumen: The ability to balance big-picture strategic thinking with hands-on project oversight.
• Adaptability and Reflection: Openness to diverse viewpoints and a collaborative, reflective approach to leadership within international contexts.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (essential), fluent German needed.
